Depth. Intimacy. Living Truth

The shared commitment that guides the mentors and this course

Jason von Halle

Jason brings steadiness, grounded warmth and a sensitivity – shaped by lived experience – to complexities and subtleties of opening more fully to life. He helps people feel supported in their vulnerability and more able to meet themselves and others with integrity, understanding, and heart.

Marika Baxter

Fairfield, Connecticut
marika@mb1wellness.com

Marika brings a highly attuned sensitivity to the body and to subtle layers of emotion, energy, and consciousness, along with a grounded joy in expressing what is alive and true for you. Her warmth makes it easier to be deeply human—messy, tender, and still arriving—and to feel at home in her presence and in yourself.

Mikael Mofarrej

Berlin, Germany
mikael@unfoldingbeing.org

Mikael brings unusual clarity, warmth, and sensitivity to the subtle movements of transformation. He has a lived familiarity with paradox and helps people stay close to the living edges of their own experience, opening to the immediacy of the wholeness that is emerging.

The Invitation

Mentoring Presence is an immersive journey into the lived experience of fundamental consciousness — the subtle ground of being that pervades the body, the world, and the relational field between us.

As you make deep contact with the internal space of your body, you cultivate a more stable sense of yourself. You begin to live more steadily from within your own being. You learn to trust a deeper pacing — allowing the ground to support you, restore you, and reveal the next step from within. Old protections soften, and perception shifts.

This is the heart of Mentoring Presence: developing the capacity to inhabit yourself more deeply, to sense what is truly yours and what is true in relationship, to find your own voice, to speak and express yourself authentically, and to let the steady ground of your own being become the source of your expression, relationships, and action.

Through Realization Process meditations, somatic inquiry, truth-speaking, study groups, affinity groups, collaborative inquiry, and personalized mentoring, you clarify what matters from within your own experience. You begin to recognize peace, love, and joy as qualities already present within your own being. You learn to speak from what is most deeply true in your experience. You let the ground of your being shape your presence, your relationships, and your life.

Throughout this journey, you are companioned by mentors who have each lived deeply with these practices over many years. They know what it is to lose the thread and find it again — to stay close to what is here, even when it is difficult.

In their presence, and in the presence of your cohort, you may find yourself known in ways that quietly change how you are with yourself, with others, and with life.

WHAT PRESENCE IS, AND HOW IT MANIFESTS

        • Presence is fundamental consciousness becoming palpable.
        • When we inhabit the body as presence, it is because fundamental consciousness is pervading the body.
        • When we feel another person’s presence, it is that same fundamental consciousness becoming palpable as that person.
        • When we sense vast spiritual presence, it is that same fundamental consciousness pervading the environment.

Session 1 | September 15: The Arrival

You arrive. You meet your cohort and Study Group. Something begins to stir as the field comes alive—a gentle yet fierce sense of belonging to one another, and to something larger than any one person brings alone.

Session 2 | September 29: The Defensive Organization

You begin to notice where you pull back—the subtle ways you leave yourself or limit contact. These patterns once protected you; now they shape your life. And yet, your body can soften; something deeper than the defensive organization is already alive underneath.

Session 3 | October 13: Direct Contact

You begin sensing what becomes possible when direct contact deepens in relationship. Sensing from the subtle core and remaining in contact, relationship itself becomes more transparent, immediate, and alive. A question already living in you begins to be felt in the body, revealing what matters most and organizing your path from within.

Session 4 | October 27: The Truth Talk

From the depth of contact with yourself, what matters most begins to clarify—what is actually alive and true in you. You share a short truth talk drawn from lived experience, then move into an Affinity Group shaped around the burning question most alive in you.

Autumn Collaborative Inquiry Phase | October 28 – January 11

Your Affinity Group finds its own rhythm. You meet independently, sit with your mentor, and let the inquiry deepen. Something begins to take shape—not just an idea, but a living understanding becoming embodied.

Sessions 5–7 | January 12, January 26, February 9: Living Realization

Each Affinity Group offers what has emerged to the whole cohort. Relationship becomes the place where realization is lived. Together, we move through what matters most: healing our fragmented self, embodying the essential self, and relating as our essential self.

Winter Living Inquiry Phase | February 10 – March 1

You return to your Study Group changed by what has unfolded. Together, you prepare personal talks—opportunities to stand in what has become most real, to speak from within your own lived experience, and to let what remains unresolved stay open and alive.

Sessions 8–10 | March 2, March 16, March 30: The Deep Beginning

Through personal talks and Bohmian dialogue, we turn together toward the questions that run beneath everything:

  • What is healing? What is being healed?
  • What is awakening? What is being awakened?
  • What is living nondually?

We honor all that has unfolded—not as an ending, but a threshold. A deep beginning.

Your personal mentor accompanies you throughout the journey—helping you discover what is most alive in you, supporting your inquiry as it deepens, and meeting you where the work becomes most personal.

Note: A minimum of three sessions is required, billed directly to your mentor at $150 per session. You are always welcome to schedule additional sessions with your personal mentor, or to explore the unique presence and perspective of the other mentors.

Each session in your private portal includes dedicated folders to help you seamlessly prepare, practice, and integrate the work:

  • Prepare: A brief orientation to the upcoming session, with clear guidance for reading, journaling, and reflection.

  • Read: Selected passages from Judith Blackstone’s books, paired with suggestions for reading for inspiration, understanding, and deeper inquiry.

  • Meditate: Guided audio meditations chosen specifically to deepen your attunement for each session.

  • Connect: Guidance for connecting with spiritual friends, navigating Study Groups, and engaging with your Affinity Group between sessions.

  • Resources: Articles and support materials for Somatic Journaling, Courageous Acts, Burning Questions, Collaborative Teaching Sessions, and model talks from previous years.

  • Breakout Rooms: Previews and supportive guidance to help you ground yourself before entering breakout room explorations.

1. Technology & Environment

  • Zoom: Please ensure your Zoom application is kept updated to the latest version.

  • Hardware: A reliable camera and microphone are important. Built-in laptop devices are perfectly fine, though external equipment can improve audio clarity.

  • Environment: We ask that you set up your physical space so that your presence comfortably fills the screen, and your lighting, colors, and background cultivate a shared sense of safety, warmth, and connection.

  • For personalized help choosing technical equipment, you are welcome to contact Abraham Sanchez at Sweetwater: abraham_sanchez@sweetwater.com | +1 800 222 4700 x1645

2. Core Texts

Please acquire the following books by Judith Blackstone. We highly encourage having both a Kindle and a hard copy of each. The digital version is invaluable for quick keyword searches, while the physical copy allows you to highlight, take notes, and map your unfolding inquiry:

  • The Enlightenment Process: A Guide to Embodied Spiritual Awakening

  • Trauma and the Unbound Body: The Healing Power of Fundamental Consciousness

  • Belonging Here: A Guide for the Spiritually Sensitive Person

3. A Dedicated Journal

Choose a physical notebook that feels good to write in—a dedicated, private space for your insights, dreams, confusions, and discoveries.

Is Mentoring Presence For You?

There is a quality of being present that is presence itself—an attunement to what is invisible at first, and yet more real than anything you could have imagined.

You have felt it. Not only in formal meditation, but in the scent of blue lavender. The crisp green tips of asparagus. The exact moment someone’s grief lands in the space between you before they even speak. The quiet aliveness of an old tree. The sound of absolute silence.

You already know when you are open, transparent, and receptive. You also know when you are caught in thought, fantasy, or defensive projection.

If you want to live in that presence—rather than just visit it—you are in the right place.

What Supports the Journey

The practitioners who flourish in Mentoring Presence are curious, sincere, and willing to be touched by reality directly. They are deeply receptive, sensitive to what is emerging, and drawn to live from what is real before it becomes frozen into thought.

Mentoring Presence opens the passage from adaptation to inhabitation. From effort to contact. From performing to being. From knowing about yourself to truly being yourself.

“Thank you for letting me sit quietly and matter so much.”

Reflections from the Field

“By pure grace I found Jason online and recognized the wisdom in his writings. Working with him has shown me how expansive and inclusive that wisdom is. Jason provided me with a precious place of solace, a soft resting spot, and a still place where I could finally relax and allow myself to grow and evolve through the stormy seas of radical change and upheaval that were taking place in both my inner and outer worlds. The generosity of his spirit provided me with a heartfelt home where I could rest and gather strength for a genuine return to my body and my true self. I am forever grateful.”

P. E.

“Jason was impressively heart-centric and empathetically guided me into my deepest places I’ve worked with a lot of coaches and therapists, and can say that Jason felt especially present. He will be right by your side every step of the way, and creates a very safe container for you to go into the untraveled pockets of your consciousness to find healing and freedom. If you are seeking a more loving relationship with yourself, a sense of healing, or to feel more embodied, then Jason is your guide.”

Mike M. Coach, Podcaster, Writer

“Working with Jason has been very uplifting. His experience with the Realization Process and his ability to connect the process to the relational and pragmatic facets of daily life facilitates a very enriching experience. While facilitating, his attention to my experience provided a learning environment that helped me deepen my practice.”

Dave B. Nature Connection Guide

“I sought out Marika Baxter because she is trained as a physical therapist. As I’d hoped, her multi-faceted understanding of the body has informed her teaching as she shows me how to move within my limitations. Unexpectedly, she has given me more. She has shared her wisdom about how to discover myself through the medium of my body—which is, after all, my “self.” Marika is calm, kind, and generous with her knowledge. I feel lucky to work with her.”

C. S.

“Marika’s Realization Process practices came at the perfect time for me. During the “stay-at-home” time I looked forward to Sunday evening to settle down my nervous system.  Both the practice of the Realization Process and Marika’s voice took me on an inner journey.  Marika’s approach is gentle, warm and accessible. She has done the work herself and is gifted at guiding others through the process.  I highly recommend working with her.”

EL, Certified Visionary Craniosacral Work (VCSW®) practitioner,

Marika’s offering of subtle energy work has been so beneficial to me especially during the Covid-19. Tuning in to my inner core being helps me to maintain my rhythm and true potential, letting go of blockages and old belief systems. I’m very grateful for all her work, generosity of spirit and soothing voice. Thank you Marika!”

MC, Carmel, NY

“My work with Mikael has reacquainted me with my most grounded and fundamental sense of self: at times challenging and confronting, it has granted me a lightness, clarity, and confidence I could never have imagined before. It has equipped me with a vocabulary beyond language, helped me disentangle from old hurts and make peace with past dynamics, connecting me anew with the treasured traits of awareness, attunement, and presence. I have come to understand this unfolding process as part of a lifelong journey of renewing faith in myself. I carry the rewards of Mikael’s practice with me every day.”

Amelia McConville, PhD, interdisciplinary researcher and communications officer

“Working with Mikael and the Realization Process instantly unfolded a positive effect — from the first session on — and allowed me to experience states that I had been trying to grasp intellectually for a decade. Mikael’s presence and guidance have been of immeasurable value for my healing. Working with him has taught me new and powerful ways to ground myself and regulate in emotionally challenging situations and to feel more aligned in my actions that other therapy forms couldn’t.”

Elli Gomann, executive coach

“I’m deeply grateful for Mikael’s work, and can wholeheartedly recommend his strong, sensitive guidance to anyone seeking the healing possible through deeper contact with one’s inner world. His combination of vulnerability, respect, and gentle, honest insight allowed me to open in ways that I’ve rarely experienced, creating motion around some very deep places that I was not expecting to reach in such a brief exploration.”
