“Living Nonduality,” the title of this course, refers to a series of gentle, somatic practices for realizing fluidity, wholeness, depth, and stillness pervading our whole body, and living in that dimenion. Nonduality is the wholly mysterious experience that we are made of consciousness – and simultaneously, we are human.

  • September 7 fluidity – moving with grace and ease.
  • September 21, we explored wholeness – being conscious and in contact everywhere in our body simultaneously.
  • October 5, we explored depththe stable expanse of our contact with fundamental consciousness in the innermost depth of our mind and heart; the fullness of our responsiveness arising from the luminous ground of our being rather than from our conditioning or reactivity.
  • October 19, we explored stillness – experienced as profound openness, radiance – full of the movement of life..

        • Our focus today is on Wholeness – being conscious and in contact everywhere in your body. We’re going to focus on the pelvis and the pelvic floor. Inhabiting our pelvis and our pelvic floor is foundational to our feeling grounded and at home in our body.We will silently attune to “aum” in the central channel. The central channel is the integrative axis of the body. Each of the core points in the central channel gives us access to a felt-sense of being conscioous and in contact everywhere in our body. Experiencing this subtle, very refined dimension of consciousness feels like we’re experiencing our true nature.In our last exercise this morning, lying on the floor with your knees moving side to side, please make yourself comfortable – with pillows on either side of your knees and also under your head, if you want. The point of the movement is to stay attuned to the core points in the central channel and also the subtle circuitry as your knees slowly, very slowly, cross the mid-line of your body.
