Mentoring Intimacy

At the heart of our longing lies a hidden promise — the ache to be seen is a quiet call home. Even as this longing draws us toward one another, it can stir the very defenses that once protected us from the pain of not being met.

In the crucible of our relationships, old protections surface. But rather than turning away, when we attune to the ground of our being — a luminous, unbound openness — what once felt like distance begins to dissolve. The sense of separation softens. Contact becomes possible — quiet, direct, and intimate.

This intimacy is not performance or self-disclosure. It is the lived experience of fundamental consciousness in relationship, for when we rest in the innermost core of our being, a subtle current of resonance flows. Mutual attunement arises without effort.

Within our larger circle of participants, nine craft 30–40 minute offerings inspired by The Intimate Life: Awakening to the Spiritual Essence in Yourself and Others. Shaped through one-on-one meetings with me, each offering emerges from direct, lived experience with the practices.

As weaver of meditations, somatic inquiries, and moments that arise spontaneously within our shared field, I guide us into a living alchemical ground. Here, presence deepens. Old defenses soften in the tender intelligence of love — love that senses what each moment is asking for. Compassion flows. Love heals. We discover ourselves vibrantly alive, grounded and secure, awake and intimate with all that arises.

Participant Voices

Spontaneous words from within our circle

“Normally with this level of constriction, I would be gripping, but somehow I really feel that I still have the contact. I still have some contact. And there’s a lot of flowing.”

“It’s like tears, but it feels like love.”

“It’s like I’m right here in myself, and she’s right there in hers, and nothing has to change for us to exist. Even though I have constrictions and so does she.”

“It felt like coming home. Such a weird thing that it feels like coming home.”

Living the Intimacy of Being

Intimacy with another can be life-changing. Yet the deepest intimacy is with the fundamental ground of being itself. When we rest in our core, we discover the authentic ground of our individuality — and our oneness with all of life.

These six facets are not skills to acquire, but living pathways. Each opens a door to what becomes possible as fundamental consciousness pervades our perception, movement, expression, and relationships. They invite us into the tenderness, clarity, and radiance of our essential nature.

1. Inhabiting the Luminous Core
Becoming transparent to yourself and the world — empty, radiant, and alive.

2. Sensing the Unchanging Ground of Being
Attuning to the unified field of consciousness that pervades body and environment, shifting perception at its roots.

3. Uncovering a Deeply, Invisibly Rooted Authentic Identity
Being yourself without pretense. Feeling and expressing what is real. Meeting life with clarity, integrity, and love.

4. Dissolving the Defenses that Separate Us from Others
Recognizing that our protections once formed to feel safe and loved. Letting compassion arise as a natural response to suffering.

5. Experiencing Relational Resonance
Meeting each other with our whole being — love meeting love, clarity meeting clarity, power meeting power. Feeling the subtle hum of deep contact.

6. Integrating Presence with Humanness
.True embodiment doesn’t transcend our humanity — it includes it. Presence that excludes the human heart is not healing.

As Judith Blackstone, founder of the Realization Process, reflected

My vision is that new teachers have a chance to learn from very experienced teachers what has been most important, and most transformative, for them – the alchemy of their own personality and history with what I have taught – as well as how they have each brought it out into the world, and I think you have managed to do that beautifully.”

The Intimate Life — Core Healing Issues and Healing Movements

This journey begins with a wound — often hidden, but deeply felt — a quiet ache of separation from our spiritual essence. Through relationship, presence, and embodied realization, we begin to remember: we were never truly apart.

Each chapter opens a facet of this healing — not as theory, but as lived truth.

  • Introduction: The Wound of Separation
At the root lies a disconnection from our spiritual essence, a subtle split that hinders true contact with ourselves and others.
Healing movement: Relationship becomes a spiritual path. As we release the holding patterns that obscure our essence, we begin to live in the wholeness of being.
  • Chapter I: The Relational Field: Attuning to Unified Consciousness
Defenses and distortions fragment our awareness and keep us separate.
Healing movement: We attune to the unified field of consciousness — the “pre-subjective” oneness that dissolves projections and brings compassion into relationship.
  • Chapter II: Oneness and Separateness: Overcoming Boundary Issues
We fear losing ourselves in others, or we keep our distance to avoid being hurt.
Healing movement: We discover we are whole within ourselves and simultaneously one with others. This resolves boundary confusion and restores authentic contact.
  • Chapter III: Dancing Core-to-Core: Relating from the Subtle Core of the Body
Rigidities and psychological defenses keep us from sensing our own depth.
Healing movement: As we enter the subtle core of the body, we access the gateway to fundamental consciousness — where resonance, awareness, and love naturally arise.
  • Chapter IV: Mutual Contact: The True Meeting of I and Thou
We long to connect, yet feel either too close or too far.
Healing movement: Through spiritual oneness, we discover both our true distance and true unity. As defenses soften, the essence of being comes forward to meet the other.
  • Chapter V: Bare Perception: How Unified Consciousness Transforms the Senses
Our senses are veiled by projection, memory, and concept.
Healing movement: In bare perception, we see and hear the world as it is — luminous, transparent, and alive — restoring our kinship with all that exists.
  • Chapter VI: Compassion: How Relationships Can Heal Old Wounds
Intimacy activates old wounds, tightening us around past pain.
Healing movement: Within the spacious clarity of fundamental consciousness, we recognize these patterns and release them. Compassion arises — steady, unshakable, and kind.
  • Chapter VII: Sexual Intimacy: The Spiritual Essence of Sexuality
Cultural and personal defenses separate sexuality from the sacred.
Healing movement: As we open the subtle core of the body to pleasure and presence, sexuality becomes a revelation — a full-bodied knowing of the wholeness of being.
  • Chapter VIII: Love and the Spiritual Path
We twist away from absolute reality and become lost in stories shaped by history and culture.
Healing movement: We return to a dimension beyond the thinking mind — letting go of what we’ve clung to, and rediscovering ourselves as lovers of life.
